station. The last few minutes of the bx. Music by Alice Cooper, "Elected"
and The Sex Pistols, "Anarchy in the UK." ID and uncopied email addy. F-P.

Channel Z. R- 6925U *0004-0054* 5/24/08 SIO=242. Prgm of fairly obscure
rock mx for the most part, ancd as an "anniversary show." Some of the
artists IDed by the ancr were the Ramones, Nervous Wreck and Liquid Liquid.
Said thanks to many listeners incl George Zeller. Multiple jingle
IDs w/slogan of "the only channel you'll ever need." Ancd Blue Ridge
Summit addr and also for repts. (Zeller-OH)

Channel Z R.- 6925 AM *0151-0234* 5/25/08 SIO=353. Prgm of hard rock mx
ancd as a test bcst. A song by Guns and Roses, "Elected" by Alice Cooper,
and some classic rock by Focus. Usual slogan of "The Last Channel

English. First log of this station. "Turn up the Radio" heard twice along
with "Funky Town." Several IDs. F-p. (Wood, TN).

MAC ID, Hound Dog, Teddy Bear, Ultra Man on mic. Return to sender, (Ragnar-MI)

Radio Appalachia 6924.6a 5/25/8 00:41 sio121, very faint, bluegrass music,
guitar or mandolin picking, ID with the Stooges "Quiet Numbskulls,
I'm broadcasting" at 00:46 (Fansome, PA)

R. Appalachia- 6824.9 AM 0018-0024* 5/25/08 SIO=242. S/on w/a country signer
(perhaps Johnny Cash) singing the Bonanza theme. A couple of other
semi-bluegrass country tunes as well. Slogan of "The Free Voiceof
teh Ohio Valley," with a transmiiter located in Moundsville, WV,
which of cousrse is where the West Virginia state pen is located.
Occasional Three Stooges audio clips. No addr ancd.

Radio First Termer on now, 1914, 05/25 6925u. Good signal into GB.(Wood, TN).

6925u PIRATE, Radio First Termer. 1740-1936. 25 May 08. English. First log of
this station. OM anncr "Dave Rabbit" with show reminiscent of AFRTS
Vietnam era broadcasts. IDs as "Radio First Termer, 69 megacycles." music
included items from Bloodrock, Led Zeppelin, Three Dog Night, Jimi Hendrix,
and others. Faint but clear signal that improved in strength as the show
progressed. Fair. (Wood, TN).

R. First Termer- 6925U 2112-2118 5/24/08 SIO=242/242-. Only a small
part of this old prgm abt unofficial radio stations for the USA troops
duirng the Vietnam War. Some profane discussions among soldiers.
Classic rock tune, "Don't Step on the Grass, Man." Faded out in the
end, but another unid stn came up briefly on the freq. (Zeller-OH)

Radio 1st Termer: 6925/U, 2003-2012+, 24-May; Apparently just came
on; lengthy ID promo; Dave ? host listing staff & into Iron Butterfly.
SIO=1+52+ till blasted by Captain Morgan @2007:40 on 6924.7 w/

ID about now, novelty tune (Fansome, via remote Internet radio
in south-central Florida)

male op in heavy static playing hard British? punk. op is soft spoken
and to low to make out. Het came up around 00:40, signal dove around

TCS/The Crystal Ship
The Crystal Ship- 5385.4 AM 0136-0213 5/26/08 SIO=242-. Weaker level
than usual. The Poet w/a prgm of largely rock mx by the Doors. Ancd
// on 6700 completely inaudible here; not even a het. Even on 5385.4
they eventually faded out. Hrd no addr ancd, but they use Belfast.

TCS 5385.5a 5/30/8 2:28 sio322, lots of static and crashes,
data cricket every once in a while, pop music that I recognize
but don't know the name of, ID at 2:32 by male voice, email address
by female voice, novelty country music.(fansome-PA)

The Hole?
The Hole?: 6935/U, 0328-0343*, 25-May; Do the Humpty Hump rap tune;
Masturbation Network spot; Wild Thing (not the Troggs version); hard
rock; Hepatitis spot. ID sounded like "This is the Hole" at close.
SIO=4+44 till dropped down some about 0337; a few machine gun bursts
after 0340. (Frodge-MI)

THe Wave
The Wave 6925u 5/30/8 23:05 sio423, very noisy, but good signal,
"Rock the Boat", ID at 23:07, other music perhaps someone like Perry Como?,
Van Morrison, "Pulling Mussels from the Shell", signal dropping in
and out at 23:18 (Fansome, PA)

The Wave 6925u 5/31/8 00:58 sio423, "Anchors Aweigh" briefly, then ID,
"Tales of Brave Ulysses", "Southern Cross", "Wreck of the Edmun Fitzgerald"
(Fansome, PA)

WBNY- 6925U 2216-2217* 5/25/08 SIO=141/242. Three repeats of the WBNY
"People Power" jingle. No prgming ensued after the jingles. (Zeller-OH)

WHJR, Hey Joe R.- 6925.8 AM 0115-0139* 5/26/08 SIO=141-242. Several different
versions of the rock tune "Hey Joe" played by various artists.
OM ancr says that their slogan is "Hey Joe All the Time."

Wolverine Radio 6925u 5/24/8 23:36 sio322, bad QRM, comments about
Skylab re-entering the atmosphere, some kind of skit about space
junk and such, improving to 423, QRM still bad, more comedy, "Miami Vice"
theme, ID at 23:47 (Fansome, PA)

Wolverine R.- 6925U *2333-2347* Began w/a strange song where
"testing 1, 2, 3" was the first set of lyrics in the song. This
was repeated a few times into a joke abt Bambi. Ad for a Volkswagen
dealer. Sketh saing that there is a 90% chance that Skylab will crash
into Ohio. Some intentionally confusing material, apparently from an
old Firesign Theater radio show. Sales man at Ralph Spoilsport Motors
sells a trailer to the Pshaw of Iran. Clear ID at close w/an echo
effect by OM ancr. I still think that this ID sounds like "Long Range R,"
but the stn has confirmed that this is supposed to be Wolverine R.
