=+=+=+=+= North American Stations/Relays =+=+=+=+=

8/14, 0046, 6965/U; rock music at S8 about equal to storm noise

level from SW OK/NW TX, making copy very difficult. 0049 DJ

announcement sounds like Dick Weed of Radio Free What-ever,

0050 mentions HF Underground; recheck 0109 seems off. Yes,

RFW confirmed by many logs here between 2302 and 0053*: ... ic,36692.0.

html If you see no link to HFU after ``here``, it`s because

some editor doesn`t want you to go there. Started on 6955

but jumped to 6965 to avoid ute on 6947. Seems to me pirates

seldom ascend as high as 6965 (Glenn Hauser, OK)

8/13, 0010, 6960/AM; mellow progressive music, low-fi sound, full

stop between songs, nice deep audio. 0057, acoustic version

of Pink Floyd's Wish You Were Here. 0103, “The show's over"

into the national anthem. Excellent signal. (Will-WV)

8/13, 0048, 6935/U; Jingle "can anyone hear me" repeated several

times, 0049, "Wolverine Radio" ID into old 30s jazz music.

The theme tonight was songs with "last" in the title, e.g.,

Traveling Wilburys Last Night, Tom Petty Last Dance With

Mary Jane, Rolling Stones Last Time & many more. (Will-WV)

8/13, 0103-0154, 6935/U; started out with good sig & wide audio

but slowly faded down to fair with light static, excellent

program of various genres of songs with the word "last" in

them, SSTV/FAX at 0152 of last supper painting which can be

seen on HF Underground. (Hassig-IL)

8/13, 0109, 6935/U; rockmusic at S9+10 to 20, 0127 Wolverine Radio

ID. Was not on at 1st bandscan circa 0045. But 1st reported

at 0048 here followed by numerous logs leading to Last Supper

SSTV image, with keyword ``last`` in song titles: https:// ... 666.0.html

(Glenn Hauser, OK)

8/12, 2345, 6300/U; poor with static, dance music, also trance music

which sounds spacey. (Hassig-IL)

8/13, 0022, 6955/U; varied fair/poor with static, house type dance

music. (Hassig-IL)

8/13, 0036, 6925/AM; 1930s jazz music snippet, fair signal, off at

0039. (Will-WV)

8/13, 0118, 6955/U; rock music at S9+10, but off when I recheck at

0120 after finding the 6935 one. Here`s only one other log of

this 6955, also unID:

index.php/topic,36668.0.html (Glenn Hauser, OK)

8/18, 2346-2357:35*, 6930/U; Huey Lewis & The News tunes; off w/o ID.

SIO=2+42+ at tune-in & steadily improved to 353 by 2356; buzz

burst QRM. (Frodge-MI)
