NZ Pirate Pioneer R. Hauraki documentary

Radio Hauraki was the pirate station that broke the government broadcasting monopoly in New Zealand in the late 1960s. They became one of the first privately owned licensed stations in 1970.

From New Zealand television, 1996, 46 minutes. Well worth a watch.
