XFM 6930 U

Tuned in at 0434z to drum track as an IS. 0435, "This is radio station XFM. Please stand by. The broadcast will begin in one minute". Into announcements that are hard to copy through the static. B-52s "Channel Z" at 0438. Announcer sounds live with time check and ID at 0443.

S7 - S9 through heavy static.

Thanks XFM!

6/17/11
6930 USB
0450z: Not a peep here at home but very good via Colorado global tuners remote. B-52's "Channel Z", very smooth DJ patter and XFM "Power of X" station ID, song by Beck.

0540z: Just now caught an ID here at home on the indoor antenna. Fluttery fades but occasionally peaking well.
0547z: Long DJ patter, asking listeners for e-mail, Romeo Void "Never Say Never"
0609z: Song dedication to WEAK Radio, didn't catch song title (Radio 4 "The Death of American Radio")

Listening on the Palstar R30C w/ indoor passive fugly loop.

Also being heard in California. SINPO 55545 with a fade here and there at 0615 or so.

As always, very high production values with good chatter.
