Radio Ronin 6925 AM
7/24/11 2350-0005+
SIO=222-233

I got one solid ID. Radio Ronin with "Roundabout", "Free Bird" and other 70's AOR. On the occasional fade-ups, audio sounded decent. Band condx were lousy tonight.

Thanks for the show Ronin!

very weak music here ... the music sounded familiar (classic rock) on a couple peaks, but could not ID anything

(Some bad lightning off the coast here so I am getting a taste of those loud machine gun style static crashes that make summer so much fun on most of this continent ... thankfully this is rare here)

Hopefully better next time.

Cheers, Terry

7/24/11, 6925 AM, 2345z-0130z: (All via Global Tuner remotes - no luck here at home)
Lots of classic rock - Lynyrd Skynyrd "Free Bird", Argent "Hold Your Head Up", Yes, Steppenwolf, others. A few Radio Ronin IDs.

Good audio. Best via Wisconsin remote tuner throughout, signal strength fair to very good over duration, lots of crunchy static crashes. Started out well on Connecticut tuner but faded by 0015z. Nary a hint of a carrier here at home.
The Unpleasant Frequencies Crew:
Al - Palstar R30C w/ RF Systems EMF
Snoopy - Sony ICF-2010
Roger - Magnavox D2935
(Archive of off-air recordings.)
