tones; hrd 4 SSTVs while tuned in. Closed w/USNA. SIO=2+43

ditions here preventing clean capture of signals. (Sedlacek-NE)
CLASSIC PIRATE RELAY SERVICE
10/20, 2238-2256*, 6925/U; SIO:444 Relay of the parody station "Radio
Morania" which was making fun of the external service of an
Eastern European communist block station in the 1960s. Program-
ming included a lettewbox, "The Hamshack" and the visit to a
Moranian chocolate mine. A classic. CPRRS at close down.
[Lobdell-MA]

era; 0013 ``Germany Calling, Reichsender, in 31 meter band,
[email protected]``. Time warp as except for the e-mail
address sounds like it`s from four-score years ago. Not as
strong as RFW on 6960; 0018 repeat same canned ID, I think,
which also mentions Hamburg, Bremen and maybe a D-callsign;
``Deutschland Über Alles``, as NA, but the lyrix sounded diffe-
rent, maybe a further verse, ending at 0020:40* and off the air.
Many other logs of this: http://www.hfunderground.com/board/
index.php/topic,24157.0.html Wish I had tuned in earlier.

it`s S9+10 as Dick Weed has a sidekick describing an app they
have to use after propagation fades out. Next tune to be
``Remove the Head``, by Bile (??), on Radio Free What-Ever.
Still going at 0039, discussing selling T-shirts online, only
one so far despite several refreshes; 0055 next check is off.
Many more logs of this: http://www.hfunderground.com/board/
index.php/topic,24155.0.html including Dick Weed himself:

WREC
10/27, 2300, 6873.4/AM; Halloween show with rock music. Good quality
audio but very weak here. Heard it better on a web receiver in
Europe. (Gay-KY) [Possibly an old Radio East Coast pgm? Via
Europe? -- HF]
UNIDs
10/25, 0155, 6925.2/U; pirate music (Glenn Hauser, OK)
10/25, 0212, 6925.0/U; so maybe different station/transmitter, ballad &
unreadable quickened announcement by a chipmunk-voice, another
novelty song at S7; 0216 started with counting 1-2-3-4, 1-2-3-4.
0226 another chipmunk. Maybe he doesn`t want to be IDed? DXLD yg
members were also hearing this: ``Very strong here in San Diego at
roughly 0215 tune-in. Seems to be Spanish language versions of
standard American pop songs. IDs (or announcements) between songs
at Mickey Mouse-type double (triple?) speed Spanish that I could
not copy. By about 0225 had faded down into the mud. Bob LaRose,
W6ACU`` ``Bob, I'm hearing him quite strong here as well, in Vic-
toria, BC playing a lot of Spanish music, but not exclusively. HF
Underground thinks it might be called "Peskie Party Halloween",
but the little chipmunk IDs are impossible to decipher. 73, Walt
Salmaniw, Victoria, BC`` Was the only pirate active this evening.
Further chex of HFU find reports from all over North America,
including a `definite` ID: http://www.hfunderground.com/board/
index.php/topic,24079.0.html
10/27, 0045+, 6925/U; Song Who's Dat Down There into possible ID. Heavy

10/30, 0042-0044, 6960/U; Several minutes of spooky sound effects, then
gone. (Sedlacek-NE)

reception report to [email protected]. Thanks, Poet.
(Sedlacek-NE)
Amphetamine Radio, 6950usb, verified an electronic report with a full
data PDF attachment featuring a radio tower sitting on a globe in 4
days. The verie signer sent along the following information about the
station in his e-mail: “Thank you very much for the very detailed recep-
tion report & for listening to Amphetamine Radio! Amphetamine Radio
operates on the 43 meter "pirate" band, 6800-7000 kHz with most trans-
missions on 6925 or 6950 kHz. Amphetamine Radio uses USB mode & trans-
mits SSTV as well as music/voice. Most transmissions are in the evenings
during the week & on the weekend/holidays. You can find posts on HF
Underground (http://www.hfunderground.com/board/index.php?board=3.0).
I recommend you check that forum often as reports for many US based
pirate stations are posted in real time as listeners like yourself hea
the stations, allowing you to know which frequency to tune to right
away. Amphetamine Radio operates the following equipment from a highly
secret location: Icom IC-707, MFJ "Versa Tuner", 50' longwire antenna.
Please find attached an eQSL for your reception report. Very best 73s &
hope you'll be able to hear AR in the future.” (D’Angelo-PA)
