I will be coming up with a link list for sources for this type of equipment, and making it "sticky" in this forum.... I have quite a collection myself, but I'll have to take considerable time checking links and creating the post, so it'll have to be a little later.
However, if anyone else has any links to recommend, for FM or AM related equipment, please give us a link here!

I have a number of links to trusted transmitter manufactures on Radio Brandy and on Outlaw Radio. Also on the site are reviews of equipment used in our broadcast facilities around the country. While I have a lot of high power transmitters; I tend to stick with lower power transmitters and make the antenna do the work.

If you want to build your own, this is a good source of schematics etc. - http://blockyourid.com/~gbpprorg/lpfm/index.html
The Veronica FM TX's are the best.

How bad are those chinese transmitters that you can find on ebay? I would imagine spurious emission would be a serious problem.
